American soldiers and others reenact a real Korean War operation, blending actual battle footage with reenactments. The story follows Lieut. Thompson and his 13-man platoon as they embark on a deep scouting mission to detect any last-minute threats to the impending peace, only to face a violent and unexpected battle.
