The Pumpkin Eater

Jake Armitage, a screenwriter, and his wife Jo, a mother of eight, live in London with six of her children. The couple's upper-middle-class life is strained due to Jo's suspicions of Jake's infidelity and her own emotional state. Despite both claiming to love each other, they seem to dislike each other, and their relationship is put to the test as they prepare to move to a new home in the English countryside.
