U.N.C.L.E. agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are sent to retrieve Dr. Kharmusi's death-ray, the thermal prism, from his secure vault. They seek the help of notorious safe cracker Luther Sebastian, who agrees to assist in exchange for an international pardon. However, Sebastian has his own ambitions and secretly works for the Third Way, a group seeking world domination. The U.N.C.L.E. team retrieves the thermal prism, but Sebastian double-crosses them and steals it.
