Ramon, a young man from a village, is determined to become a pearl fisherman. His father allows him to try his hand at the job, and Ramon enters a forbidden cave to search for pearls.

Ramon, the son of a wealthy village owner, longs to trade in his privileged life for the thrill of pearl fishing. His father grants him permission to try his hand at the craft, and Ramon ventures into a mysterious cave, home to a massive skate known as the Manta Diablo, in search of a prized oyster.
