A former KKK leader, Chris Buckley, receives help from an interventionist after his wife expresses concern. Despite renouncing the KKK, Chris still harbors prejudice against Muslims due to 9/11 and his military experiences. His views are challenged when he meets Dr. Heval Kelli, a Kurdish refugee and cardiologist, who tries to understand Chris and others like him. An unlikely friendship develops, and Chris must confront his hate.
