Alex Jakoff, a Russian immigrant, finds work at a sex-toy factory and catches the eye of its owner, Mrs. Eppy, who sets him up with aging adult film star Catherine. Despite initial hesitation, Alex falls for Catherine, but their relationship is complicated. When the factory faces closure, Alex buys the business with money from his Russian mafia family, but it ultimately fails, leaving him to face his family's demands for repayment.
