A young boy named Elias accidentally checks into the luggage of his mother, Nadja, on a flight to New York. He befriends a Muslim passenger named Farid, who helps him and learns that Nadja is traveling to seek medical treatment for a serious blood disease. As the flight takes off, a group of terrorists hijack the plane, killing the pilot and security guards. The terrorists, led by Berg, force the passengers to stay seated and use Farid and two other Muslim passengers to read a message to the authorities. However, their true intention is to crash the London stock market, which is experiencing high trading activity, and make a large profit.
