The next installment of the Voltron saga follows the veteran pilots of the Voltron lions as they mentor a new generation of cadets, teaching them the skills and strategies needed to join the fight against evil.
The Voltron Force, responsible for defeating King Lotor, was shunned when the Voltron Lions malfunctioned and were decommissioned without investigating the cause. Years later, the team seemingly disbanded, but secretly planned their return. When Lotor was revived, the team brought back Voltron, now aided by a new generation of cadets, to defend the galaxy.
