In the summer of 1986 in a small Scottish town, Jimmy and Tully ignite a brilliant friendship based on music, films, and rebellion. As school ends, they embark on a magical weekend in Manchester, the epicenter of working-class culture. Against a soundtrack of legendary songs, they make their vow to live differently. Despite growing apart as adults, Jimmy still carries Tully's influence deeply, even celebrating their 50th birthday with newfound optimism.
