Two insomniac students team up to spend nights at an observatory together.
Ganta, an insomniac student from Nanao, finds himself trying to take a nap in the abandoned astronomical observatory at his school. There, he meets Isaki Magari, a sociable girl who also struggles with insomnia. Initially awkward around each other, Ganta and Isaki form an unlikely friendship and rekindle their school's dormant astronomy club.
