Taiki, a third-year student aspiring to impress his crush, stars player Chinatsu, joins the badminton club hoping for success at Nationals. Despite early rising habits, Taiki is unexpectedly living with Chinatsu and focuses on improving his badminton skills to win her over.

Taiki Inomata, a third-year junior high student at Eimei Academy, aims to join the high school badminton team. Despite his best efforts in early practice sessions, he often comes in second place behind his crush, Chinatsu Kano, a popular first-year senior high student and star basketball player. As her popularity far surpasses his own, Taiki faces an uphill battle to win Chinatsu's affection. However, when Chinatsu unexpectedly moves into Taiki's home, he sees an opportunity to prove himself worthy of her admiration by training diligently for the Nationals. Will Taiki's hard work pay off and bring him closer to Chinatsu? Time will tell.
