Jim Craig leaves his father's farm in the Australian mountains after his father's passing to earn enough money to revive the farm. He meets twin brothers, played by Kirk Douglas, who haven't spoken in years. One brother was Jim's father's best friend, while the other is the father of the girl Jim wants to marry. As Jim tries to win Jessica's heart, a 20-year-old feud between the brothers re-erupts, accusing Jim of releasing a prize stallion.
