However, the plot is threatened by Brock Marsh, a cunning Confederate spy ring leader, who seeks to sabotage the treaty and claim the gold for himself. Against this backdrop of treachery and deception, Ruth Lawrence and Mike Daugherty join forces to outwit Marsh and ensure the peace treaty is signed.
