Little Men background

Little Men

The classic novel-based film follows two homeless boys from Boston who discover a new home at Plumfield, a rural boarding school founded by Jo and her husband, where they receive both academic and life-changing lessons.

In 1871, a 12-year-old orphan named Nat Blake navigates life on the streets of Boston with his streetwise friend Dan. After a turning point, Nat receives support from John Brooke, who pays for his education at Plumfield, a boarding school in the countryside run by Jo and Fritz Bhaer. The Bhaers prioritize kindness and understanding, leading to a transformative experience for Nat as he adjusts to a new way of life. He faces challenges as he trades lying and survival tactics for a life of honesty and growth. The arrival of Dan, who refuses to adapt to the school's rules, further complicates Nat's journey.
