Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke background

Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke

As the dam's structural integrity begins to deteriorate, a desperate father-son duo must navigate the treacherous waters and find a way to escape before it's too late.

As the dam in Rutland begins to show signs of aging, David Powell, a former architect, returns to the town after being ostracized by Walker, who prioritizes profits over safety. David insists that the dam be drained and inspected, but Walker dismisses his concerns, citing the costs and time required. Undeterred, David investigates the dam and discovers anomalies. He tries to warn his estranged wife, the deputy mayor, but she refuses to listen, consumed by anger. Meanwhile, David also struggles to reconnect with his son, who harbors resentment towards his father's past abandonment.
