Drums Across the River background

Drums Across the River

A young man, consumed by racial prejudices, is unexpectedly thrust into a position of mediating between rival groups, leading to a transformative journey amidst the backdrop of a gold rush on Ute Indian land.

In the dwindling town of Crown City, Colorado, the last remaining gold deposits are hidden within Ute Indian territory. Against his better judgment, honest but bigoted Gary Brannon joins a mission to negotiate mining concessions, while his father Sam, wiser and more level-headed, tries to maintain peace. However, their efforts are thwarted by the deceitful Frank Walker, who seeks to incite an Indian war to further his own interests.
