A young gay man, Robert Tucker, sits in various waiting rooms, lost in memories of his childhood when his father passed away. He reflects on the difficulties he faced at a Catholic school, where he was bullied and seemed to have no friends. At home, his mother was quiet and his father was struggling with illness and anger. After his father's death, Robert grieves alone, with only his memories to comfort him.
