The West

The West is a 4-part PBS documentary series co-produced by Ken Burns and Stephen Ives. The series consists of four episodes: "Death Runs Riot" (85 minutes),"Fight No More Forever" (85 minutes),"Ghost Dance" (58 minutes),and "The People" (82 minutes).

The documentary explores the history of the American West, tracing the experiences of Native American tribes and their encounters with European settlers, who ultimately conquered and settled the land.
