A man, Joseph, struggles to cope with his son's departure to Australia with his ex-wife, and as a result, he abandons his current life to sail to Ireland in search of closure and confrontation with his troubled past.
Joseph, a man haunted by his past, sets out on a journey to Ireland to confront his childhood memories in the care system. He reunites with his sister Anna and her husband Michael, who take him in and offer him work at their building company. However, his reunion is complicated by his attraction to Michael's sister Dinah, who is also haunted by a secret.
