The Flash is a superhero who uses his incredible speed to fight crime and solve mysteries as a police forensic scientist.
A freak accident involving lightning and chemicals gives police crime scene investigator Barry Allen superhuman speed, allowing him to move at nearly the speed of sound. With the help of scientist Tina McGee from STAR Labs, Barry learns to control his powers and creates a special costume to aid him in his quest to avenge his brother's death and protect Central City as The Flash.
