The Field of Blood

In 1982 Glasgow, a young girl named Paddy Meehan breaks into the male-dominated world of journalism as a feisty copy boy. She dreams of becoming an investigative reporter and seizes an opportunity when a young boy is kidnapped and murdered. Paddy sees connections to a previous crime and is determined to make it her story. However, as she crosses the line, she becomes outcast from her Catholic family and puts her colleagues' and own lives at risk.
