In this reality TV show, 14 aspiring entrepreneurs compete for a £100,000 prize and the chance to work with billionaire Sir Alan Sugar. Each week, Sir Alan divides the contestants into two teams and assigns them a business task. The team that performs poorly will have one member fired by Sir Alan. The competition continues until the final week, when one candidate will be chosen to receive the grand prize and become Sir Alan's apprentice.
