"Tales From The Crypt" originated as an American bi-monthly horror comic anthology series published by EC Comics from 1950 to 1955, hosted by "The Crypt Keeper". Due to congressional hearings and the imposition of the Comics Code, the series was canceled. However, it would later return in various forms, including television series, movies, and a radio show. In 1993, "The Crypt Keeper" returned in the animated series "Tales From The Cryptkeeper", voiced by John Kassir. The series ran for two seasons, with some episodes featuring characters from the EC Comics series, set in the fictional city of Gravenhurst, California.
