Sazae-san

Based on Machiko Hasegawa's 1948 newspaper comic series titled "The Isono Family," this series follows the daily antics of the extended Isono family: Fune and Namihei, their three children Sazae, Katsuo, and Wakame, Sazae's husband Masuo Fuguta, and their child Tarao. Each episode typically captures the humorous moments in everyday life in Japan through the years—such as studying for exams, looking after children, getting along with neighbors, earning a regular paycheck, and maintaining a tidy home.
