Sam Puckett, a motorcycle tourist, stops in Los Angeles and rescues Cat Valentine from a garbage truck. They become roommates after Cat's grandmother moves to a retirement home. To make money, they start an after-school babysitting business, leading to comedic adventures. Their lives are also influenced by their neighbors, including Dice, who helps people for a fee, and Goomer, a professional MMA fighter.
