Set in 1950s Hollywood, this detective series follows Jack Cleary, a virtuous cop who lost his badge after exposing corruption within his department. After being framed and thrown off the force, Jack spent years drowning his sorrows in booze. Following his brother's murder, Jack took over his private investigation business and worked alongside his brother's former partner, Johnny Betts. With the help of Lt. Fontana, a former colleague who didn't always see eye-to-eye with Jack, he navigates the world of private investigation.
