Charlie Manx, an immortal with a sinister appetite for children's souls, faces a catastrophic threat when a young woman in New England uncovers a perilous talent.

Young Victoria "Vic" McQueen possesses the extraordinary ability to unlock portals, allowing her to locate lost objects. As she ventures deeper into this hidden realm, she meets other "inscape travelers", including some benevolent and others who have been corrupted by their powers. Vic crosses paths with Charlie Manx, an immortal who sustains his immortality by feasting on the souls of children, making him her sworn enemy.
