In the mysterious all-night café, Frank Nolan and Fay Peronivic, who narrowly escaped death, discover they actually died and were revived by the café. Given a second chance, they're tasked with correcting past mistakes. Upon success, they become the café's new cook and waitress. With the enigmatic owner Blackie, they serve hot coffee, justice, and second chances to troubled souls as the café travels to new locations.
