In the late 19th century, Britain became a global superpower due to strict class divisions. William James Moriarty, the second son of the household, is a young mathematics professor with remarkable cunning and intellect. Alongside his brothers Albert and Louis, he leads a life as a noble outside school hours. William is known for his expertise in solving problems for those in need, but his mild demeanor conceals him as the head of a criminal organization aiming to reshape society. Yuukoku no Moriarty adapts Arthur Conan Doyle's original work by focusing on its primary antagonist and exploring how he came to be the first and only "criminal consultant."
