Monsignor Renard

A humble priest's extraordinary experiences reveal the untold story of France under German occupation during World War II.

Monsignor Renard returns to his hometown as a parish priest 20 years after leaving to join the Roman church, only to find World War Two looming and Nazi occupation imminent. He must comfort the locals while also trying to mend his fractured relationship with his estranged brother Yves, who harbors resentment towards him for abandoning the family business.
