A young boy named Lucas rescues a young Kong and raises him alongside his family. However, Lucas' twin brother harbors jealousy towards the ape and attempts to get rid of him.

In 2050, Alcatraz Island in San Francisco has been transformed into a world-renowned Natural History and Marine Preserve. But when the star attraction, KONG, goes rogue, the mastermind behind the chaos is freed to unleash an army of gigantic robotic dinosaurs on the world. As the only force capable of stopping these villains, Kong must evade capture while battling to save humanity.
