Kings

A drama series set in a contemporary world, reimagining the biblical tale of King David, as a hero rises to claim the throne and become the ruler of his nation.

King Silas Benjamin rose to power after a legendary battle against the rival republic of Gath, leveraging his god-like reputation to his advantage. Meanwhile, farm boy David Shepherd emerges as a hero, saving the king's crown prince in another epic battle. Despite his noble and naive nature, David is too selfless to pursue personal gain, instead dedicating himself to serving the king and country. However, when Silas exploits David's fame, the hero becomes embroiled in palace politics and begins plotting a coup against the king.
