Dr. Komyoji's genius robotics professor has created Jiro (who can transform into Kikaider) to protect his son, Masaru, and daughter, Mitsuko. Equipped with a conscience circuit that simulates real emotions for moral judgment, Jiro must safeguard them from Dr. Gil, who wants him to join his army and aid in world domination. The series is an enhanced darker version of the original live-action tokusatsu show Jinzou Ningen Kikaida, introducing new emotional conflicts within the narrative and characters that weren't present in the original story.
