In the Dark Ages, a Scottish clan formed an alliance with humans to protect a castle by night in exchange for safeguarding their stone forms by day. However, a betrayal by humans led to the castle's destruction and the clan's demise, leaving only six adult survivors and a rookery of unhatched eggs.
