Junpei Murao's early love affair with ballet began during a sister's recital when he was drawn in by a male dancer who impressed him with his performance. However, the revelation of his secret passion for ballet among his peers proved too much for Junpei, leading him to join soccer and Jeet Kune Do clubs. His father's footsteps as a stunt coordinator motivated him to pursue these activities, making them seem "manly." Miyako Godai saw Junpei's impressive kick technique combining elements from ballet and Jeet Kune Do when she spotted him in his class. She recruited him to join her mother's ballet studio, but he initially resisted the idea of becoming a professional dancer. Despite this, Junpei cannot shake off the euphoria ballet brings despite his reluctance, realizing he needs to sacrifice and fully commit to pursue his passion for ballet.
