Cougar Town follows the life of Travis, a teenager living in Florida, as he navigates his parents' complicated divorce and his own relationships with the quirky residents of his neighborhood. His overprotective mother, Jules, often dominates the conversation and tries to control those around her, including her real estate office colleague Laurie, her neighbor Ellie, and Ellie's husband Andy, who is often ruled with an iron fist.
