Three friends - T.J., Mack, and Kleber - embark on their lives, each finding notoriety in their unique ways. When young, they faced something that haunted them throughout the rest of their lives: Kleber becomes a journalist, while Mack thrives with his looks to become a movie star. Meanwhile, T.J., with a dark side, resorts to scams and ends up as an evangelist.
