Blood Ties is a show set in Toronto, Ontario, that follows Vicki Nelson, a former police officer turned private investigator, as she navigates her life with Retinopathia Pigmentosa, a condition causing her to lose her eyesight. She partners with Henry Fitzroy, a 470-year-old vampire and illegitimate son of Henry VIII, while dealing with her complicated relationships with her former partner and lover, Mike Celluci, who doesn't believe in the supernatural, and her assistant Coreen, who is fascinated with the occult and Henry.
