In Terra, natural disasters caused by unknown factors occur irregularly in various areas, prompting many residents to move into mobile cities built over time. The Originium left behind at the sites of these catastrophes has facilitated rapid progress in civilization due to its immense energy. However, this advancement came with a price: an incurable disease known as Oripathy. People with this affliction gradually crystallize and become new sources of infection upon death, leading to persecution under regimes of segregation and forced labor in many countries. Those oppressed by governments are beginning to rebel. Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company researching a cure for Oripathy, has taken up arms to conquer and save all people from the disease.
