Dorothy Castlemore arrives at Dumas College, eager to join Mu Sigma Theta, the sorority where her grandmother felt at home. She hopes to find acceptance among its members. Dorothy quickly befriends Treville, Connie, Miller, and "The Musketeers" - Alex, Ariana, and Portia. However, her journey is complicated by Owen Rochefort, the Student Union president's right-hand man and a notorious troublemaker. Despite her best efforts, Dorothy is devastated to learn that she wasn't offered a spot at Mu Sigma Theta.
