A group of outlaws, including Sergeant Foggers and two Confederate soldiers, steal gold from the army and take a hostage. They bury the loot near a desert waterhole. Later, a gambler named Lewton Cole kills one of the robbers and finds a map to the treasure. Cole is arrested by a sheriff in the town of Integrity, but he escapes and finds the gold. However, the outlaws attack the sheriff, take the gold back, and free Cole.
