Victor "Young" Perez, a Tunisian Jewish boxer, rose to fame as the World Flyweight Champion in 1931 and 1932, winning the title at just 14 years old. He was trained by Leon Bellier and had a brief romance with actress Mireille Balin. Perez stood at 5'1" and weighed 110 pounds, earning him the title of youngest world champion in boxing history. However, his life took a tragic turn when he was arrested in Paris in 1943 and sent to Auschwitz, where he was forced to participate in boxing matches for the Nazis. Despite the harsh conditions, Perez survived 140 bouts in 15 months, winning 139 of them. He was eventually part of the "Death March" that left the camp in January 1945.
