In this classic western, Roy Rogers returns to his hometown with his trusty horse Trigger, only to find his friend Tom Craig murdered. Roy joins forces with Gabby Whittaker, the acting sheriff, to investigate the crime and recover a stolen family heirloom crest. As they dig deeper, they become targets for the real killer, Arthur Courtney, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
