Uncle Meat, a charismatic musician, believes in pushing the boundaries of music and has a flair for the dramatic. He's known for his energetic performances, which often involve transforming into a monster. When film editor Phyllis Altenhaus sees his transformation, she's captivated and the two fall deeply in love. As they navigate their relationship, Uncle Meat's band works on a revolutionary new single, using unconventional instruments and hoping to change the world. However, his fixation on composing a hit single threatens to tear him apart from Phyllis, forcing him to choose between his passion and his love.
