In preparation for the DVD release of "1991: The Year Punk Broke", filmmaker Dave Markey edited together a 42-minute companion film from unused footage. Despite multiple screenings to enthusiastic audiences, the DVD remains unreleased due to ongoing legal challenges. The film showcases iconic moments from the tour, featuring performances of 5 Sonic Youth songs and 1 Nirvana tune, including the hit "In Bloom". A "Death Blow" style video capturing the audience's reaction has also been circulating online.
