The Toughest Gun in Tombstone background

The Toughest Gun in Tombstone

A former Texas cowboy is dispatched to Arizona's lawless Tombstone to bring order to the town, where a ruthless gang of outlaws controls the cattle and silver trade, fueled by a personal vendetta against him after they brutally murdered his wife.

Arizona Territory's pursuit of statehood is hindered by rampant lawlessness, fueled by gangs led by Johnny Ringo, Ike Clanton, and Curly Bill Brocius. These outlaws terrorize the region, robbing stagecoaches, banks, and silver shipments, and rustling cattle from large ranches. To combat this chaos, Arizona's Governor recruits former Texas Ranger Captain Matt Sloane to lead a secret group of Arizona Rangers, tasked with dismantling the gangs.
