In the summer of 1998, the Tour de France is relocated to Ireland, and Dom Chabol, a Belgian cyclist in his late 30s, is dropped from his team after 20 years of being a loyal domestique. Dom secretly dreams of wearing the yellow jersey before retiring, but his chance at glory seems lost. However, a chance encounter with an Irish doctor, Lynn, helps him accept his new reality. Just as Dom is about to return to civilian life, a teammate's doping error forces him back onto the Tour, giving him a second chance to pursue his dream.
