The Last Days of Pompeii background

The Last Days of Pompeii

Ancient Pompeii serves as the backdrop for a complex web of love and desire, as three individuals find themselves entangled in a passionate and dramatic dance.

A kind Pompeiian named Glaucus buys a mistreated blind slave, Nidia, and falls for another woman, Jone, who is desired by an Egyptian priest, Arbace. Nidia seeks Isis' help, receiving a potion that affects Arbace's mind, not his heart, allowing Jone to become his target. Just as Arbace's disciple is murdered, Mt. Vesuvius erupts.
