A stubborn man from the past clings to nostalgic ideals, convinced that everything was better before 1953. After a fall, he's forced to spend a weekend in Helsinki for physiotherapy, which he despises for various reasons. He must take a taxi, leave his wife's care to others, and spend time with his family, including a career-driven daughter-in-law tasked with closing a major deal. The Grump's attempts to help only make things worse, leading him to confront his own shortcomings as a father and learn valuable lessons about family and relationships.
