An enemy agent, Baron von Ragenstein, discovers his exact double, Sir Edward Dominey, unconscious in a boat and plots to kill him and take his place. Von Ragenstein learns about Dominey's personal life, including his broken marriage and family connections, and uses this information to infiltrate Dominey's circle. However, Dominey, who is actually still alive, is aware of von Ragenstein's plan and has been playing a dual role to uncover the enemy's leaders.
